Course Overview

This degree explores how health and social care systems are developed, delivered and managed in a rapidly changing global context. You will gain a strong understanding of policy, theory and the key challenges shaping the sector.

You will develop practical and analytical skills relevant to the workplace, including:

  • Analysing social issues such as inequality, welfare and public health
  • Building research and policy analysis skills

With the opportunity to gain experience through a work placement, you will graduate with the knowledge and skills needed for roles across health, social care and related sectors, or progression to further study.
