Building surveyors play an important role in the construction and property sectors, advising on the design, maintenance and management of buildings. This course develops your understanding of the technical, legal and professional aspects of the discipline while building skills valued across the industry.

Work Placement Information
A work placement year is an optional part of your degree and is normally completed during your studies, before your final year. If you are interested in undertaking a placement, you should discuss this with your Course Director once you start your degree programme. Please note that you will need to apply for a visa extension and pay an additional placement year tuition fee. Details of placement year fees can be found on the page.
