Course Overview

Computer science underpins many of the technologies used in everyday life, from software applications to intelligent systems and digital networks. This course provides a broad understanding of modern computing while developing the practical skills needed to design, build and manage computer-based systems.
Throughout the programme, you will develop technical and analytical expertise, including:

  • Designing and developing software and computer-based systems
  • Understanding networks, cybersecurity and emerging technologies
  • Applying computational thinking and problem-solving techniques to real-world challenges

Practical projects and hands-on learning are embedded throughout the course, culminating in a final-year project that allows you to showcase your technical and professional skills to future employers.
